Bri Goolsby is a 24-year-old filmmaker, editor, and videographer from Simsbury, Connecticut. During her time at Connecticut College, she created films that aimed to assist viewers to understand the points of view of others through fictional narratives. Since graduating, she has branched out to television. She is currently the production assistant for Simsbury Community Media, where she assists the Simsbury community in filming and editing programs to be aired on television and uploaded to YouTube. She also participates in local government through training volunteers to use robotic PTZ cameras in order to cover government meetings.
Bri believes that everyone, regardless of their identities, has a story that deserves to be presented accurately and with respect. Every project has story behind it, and Bri aims to help tell that story through her work.
Bri attended high school at The Ethel Walker School where she gained her passion for equity and civic engagement. She attended Connecticut College as a Film Studies/Production major and a Gender, Sexuality, and Intersectionality minor. She was an Ammerman Center for Arts and Technology scholar. She graduated from Connecticut College in May of 2022.
